Umesh Modi
Umesh qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985 and joined KPMG at their London Office gaining considerable audit, accounts and corporate tax experience. He set up Modiplus Ltd in 1990 which has since grown to become the leading accounting brand specialising in the independent pharmacy sector.
Modiplus merged with Silver Levene in October 2005 and is now part of the Silver Levene Group.
Umesh focuses on tax planning, business acquisitions and disposals. He is a regular contributor of articles in pharmacy journals and is frequently quoted in the Chemist & Druggist Magazine.
What inspires Umesh out of working hours?
Spending time with his family and friends, reading and raising funds for charities. Umesh’s ambition is to visit a majority of the countries of the world over the next 25 years. Can he do it?
